Finally the weather's decided to remember its not fall, or winter, but spring, even if spring is trying to be summer. Much to my shock and horror, my prime lens came apart in my hands a few weeks ago. I mourn the loss of 1.8 aperture and have defaulted back to my kit lens. Its a good reminder to focus more on composition, but working with such a range of aperture's been instructive now I'm back to the kit lens. Must admit, I did miss being able to zoom a little and mess with distortion. Ever the student in these things. Otherwise, things continue apace. We'll see if anything outside of the photos might make it up here... So how are you? :

My newest task to myself is to improve my photographic eye and skills. I've been bitten by the cosplay photographer's bug, and I can understand why. It's fun, enjoyable, and the company cannot be beat. Zenkaikon was small but lovely, and I ended up in the middle of many Hetalia cosplayers much of the time. Met awesome people, took some good-enough pictures. So what are your favourite cosplay photographers? What makes a good photo, in your opinion? And if unfamiliar with the term, who are your favourite photographers in general?

I have to say that the new format for the page where you organize your watches is amazing and I love it. I'm one of those people who have a million+ people whose art he or she follows, and the old page used to lag so much that my browser would sit for ages. I had no chance to try to use grouping or add scraps watches or anything. There's been a lot of format shifts, some good, some bad. I've been here for a while (longer then I want to think about o gosh my gallery is so old I need to finish more things) and I rarely get excited about the birthdays. Let's see if we'll continue to get some decent upgrades. <3
